The Oakland Physical Therapy Difference

Oakland Physical Therapy, P.C. was established in 1981 by physical therapists Frank and Kristie Kava. The practice was one of the first private practices specializing in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Oakland Physical Therapy, P.C. has rehabilitated thousands of patients with orthopedic diagnoses ranging from joint sprains, muscle injuries, and post-fracture care to post-surgical rehabilitation of orthopedic conditions. Many patients are treated for neck and back pain as well as pain in all of the extremity joints. Our primary goal is to restore pain-free normal function that will allow you to return to the activities you love to do. At Oakland Physical Therapy our physical therapists have advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy and several movement methods involving Stott Pilates, The Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® exercise methods and effective therapeutic exercise programs. The integration of these advanced techniques allows our therapists to accurately evaluate our patients and then design and implement most effective treatment program returning you to your previous activities.
